Winner Winner Turkey Dinner

Roasted in convection oven for 2 1/2 hours on 425
Started it with breast side down...sprinkled turkey with Sale Alle Erbe (salt with herbs)
Stuffed turkey cavity with fresh sage, garlic, and a big onion cut in half. It was moist, delish, and am using leftovers for sandwiches, turkey chili, turkey hash, and there's a real possiblity for Christmas decorations... using the bones. :)

Before you use the bones for decoration, be sure to make turkey frame soup.

The turkey was 17 lbs.

gotta love those convection ovens! I'm not much of a turkey fan though, I like those tiny game hens....that's actually what I make on Thanksgiving.
