Above and to the left is my first heirloom watermelon pink beefsteak. Next to it is a large brandywine.

The heirloom has deep red "meat" and tastes as if someone sprinkled it with fresh lemon juice...and no, I didn't. But I love it! What should I do with such a treasure??

Applewood bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich on french wheat walnut toasted bread...

and some soup. A creamy chicken and wild rice variety...with carrots, celery, and onion...and some thyme.
