I Am A Two-Timer

I met my friend Jenny at Scott's on the River. It was my second time there, but my first time for the Thursday night.. "buck a shuck" in the bar. We decided to sit at the bar. Great atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable bartenders, and oysters! We didn't get our favorite oysters (those are $2.50 each) but we enjoyed ourselves. After two martini's, cobra heart would've tasted delish! We also shared some fried calamari..which was quite delightful.

I will go back for the Thursday night special. Get in there no later than 5:30 p.m. It was packed by 5:45 and when we left at about 7:45 pm...there was a slight lull, but the barkeep said it revs back up. Good times.

Clicked the SAC click. Just now able to read up to 15 minutes every 3-4 hours. GREAT IMPROVEMENT!!!!

A friend & I once forced an 'All You Can Eat' oyster bar in Aussieland to close 9 hours early for lack of the critters. seems the locals in the 'inland' town didn't eat them much so it was always a safe bet until we rode our bikes into town.

My other most memorable experience with them was visiting a deathly ill friend in hospital who'd eaten at the same 'raw bar' as myself & got poisoned. Now I only eat'em BBQ'd, steamed, stewed, fried, etc.

I screwed up writing that one. Jenny picked me up this time. That was nice.
