First cutting of the year! All but 3 stalks are from my garden bed - there are a couple places along the creek that produce fairly well - hopefully with all our wet weather and with some sun and heat I'll get a couple more batches. Mel, fond memories of "hunting" asparagus along the ditch banks in Worland! (Wyoming)

Rancher and all around fabulous person....and high school buddy!
{I am trying to convince Marcia to be a contributor to the blog.. she is so damned busy she does not have time to blog..so I contributed for her this time. The woman makes her own butter, from her own cow! She's been up nights lately with her new baby lambs}.

Marcia will be wonderful at this - even if she is so busy! She is awesome and I have always called her my "Martha Stewart" :-) Always doing everything from scratch! Fantastic cook!
